As promised, we have put together a short reading list of books that you may find helpful. Under the broad umbrella of 'mindfulness and meditation' - here are just few, but these authors are well known and have written many other books that you may find useful: - Mindfulness in Plain English by Henepola Gunaratana - There Is Nothing Wrong With You by Cheri Huber - When Things Fall Apart by Pema Chodron - Mindfulness by Ellen Langer - Wherever You Go, There You Are by J Kabat Zinn - Others authors to look up include: Jack Kornfield, Sharon Salzberg and Joseph Goldstein Here are a few other books that we've enjoyed and found insightful: - The Rise of Superman by Steven Kotler (flow and performance expert) - Running on Empty by Dr Jonice Webb (childhood emotional neglect expert) - Attached by Amir Levine & Rachel Heller (relationships and attachment theory) - Waking the Tiger: Healing Trauma by Peter Levine (trauma) - The Body Keeps the Score by Bessel van der Kolk (trauma) In future posts we'll go into more detail about some of these books.
