Day 12 - High-value Thoughts



As you start to get your monkey mind under control and begin to regularly experience moments of calm concentration, recognise that you're putting your mind in the best posture for creativity / high-value thoughts. The usual mental chatter fills up the space that new ideas and insights need to germinate and grow.


See if you can get a bit more resolution/awareness around how low-value vs high-value thoughts feel (physically, emotionally and cognitively). Broadly speaking, the lower-value (business as usual) thoughts will have a degree of familiarity and feeling stuck or tense, and the higher-value ones will have a feeling of newness, expansion and even wonder about them.


Your monkey mind's genius lies in higher-value thinking. You and the world need your insight and creativity. Growing your focus muscles is setting the monkey up for success!
