Notice when you say "Yes" and "No" to life. Notice the obvious ones, and start to build some awareness of the subtler versions.
You may notice that there is a habitual, unconscious "No" posture constantly going on in the background. At first, changing this requires an intentional "Yes", but over time, the "Yes" will become your default posture. The mammal is where the "No" comes from, and the monkey follows it. But the human and the reptile both share a basic "Yes" state.
Acceptance -- what we are focused on this week -- is a "Yes". You don't have to like it, but you have to accept reality AS IT IS, and then work from there.
