Today we looked back over what we've been doing for the the past 29 days. We started off in week 1 by building presence with our human mind. This is the most important step in your whole practice. It is this human mind that will be able to manage your other three brains: the monkey, mammal and reptile. Their healthy functioning requires your loving leadership.
Presence is a body-based accepting awareness. You will continue to build your skills in both acceptance and awareness, but they are already being expressed here at step 1 of the practice. Building presence is becoming mindful.
