I've recently noticed a lot of interest in breathing coming from many different angles, including health & wellbeing, emotional regulation and high-performance. The linked article gives a few specific examples.
The old yogis probably delved deeper into breathwork than anyone else, ever. They called the practice 'pranayama', meaning 'controlled breathing'. They understood how to use breathing as leverage into your mind – how to train your 5 minds (observing, thinking, emotional, body and spiritual) so that your whole life goes better.
We're running a breath workshop soon where you'll learn some of this ancient knowledge and the practices to start improving your life immediately – and we'll frame the whole thing in the latest medical and scientific understanding of the body and mind, with respect to breathing. Hope you can join us!
In any case...keep breathing! 🌬
